Axent thermoses and thermo cups — the art of taste and care
Homemade hot tea tastes unbeatable in the middle of snow-capped mountains, and cool juice tastes unbeatable in the heat on the beach. How can you enjoy drinks in their original state for as long as possible? This question remained unanswered until the end of the 19th century, when the vacuum flask, the prototype of the modern thermos, was invented. Differences between thermos flasks and thermos mugs
Design. Thermos flasks have a sealed lid with a stopper that retains heat as much as possible. Thermos mugs have a lid with a hole or valve for drinking.
Volume. Thermoses usually have a larger volume of 0.5 to 2 litres, while thermo cups have a smaller volume of approximately 0.3 to 0.5 litres.
Temperature retention. A thermos is more durable, as it retains temperature for up to 6 hours, while a thermo cup retains temperature for up to 3 hours.
Purpose. A thermos is suitable for travel, picnics, and the office when you need a significant supply of hot drinks. A thermos mug is for drinking on the go, in the car, or at work.
Shape and weight. As a rule, a thermos is longer and heavier than a compact thermos mug, which is convenient to hold with one hand.
